Getting Padua
The closest airports are Venice “Marco Polo” (~40 km) and Treviso “Antonio Canova” (~50 km). Public buses from the airports to Padua train station (~10 euros) leave every 30 minutes and takes ~1 hour. In addition, shuttles from both airports (~15 euros from Venice; ~45 euros from Treviso) are available and take less time.

Padua is very close to Venice (~35 km) that can be reached in about 20-25 min. by train (~5 euros). Train service from Padova to Venezia Santa Lucia here.
From 27th to 13th February there is the Carnival of Venice. Note, if you would like to go there, you have to book the access to the city in advance. You can find more info here.
